my teachers

I am so grateful to be in my twelfth year of working with clients. I’m privileged to by trained by some of the most brilliant teachers. But the greatest teacher has been my own practice of freeing myself from suffering.

I trained with generative somatics and Strozzi Institute in the Somatics and Trauma program and in Somatic Bodywork.

I have a MA in Spiritual Leadership from the Graduate Theological Union.

I’ve been training in the Mahasi Sayadaw lineage – Vipassana meditation since 2005. I have a deep, consistent meditation practice along and regular silent retreat practice of 20 years. With deepest appreciation to my teachers Michele McDonald and Tempel Smith.

I trained with Phoenix MacGregor in Soul Archeology somatic release work, a trauma-informed, body-led method of healing.

Some books that have deeply influenced my practice:

The Presence Process by Michael Brown

The Revolutionary Trauma Release Process by Dr. David Berceli

Psychedelic Cannabis by Daniel McQueen

Existential Kink by Carolyn Elliott/Lovewell

A Mind at Home with Itself by Byron Katie

Feeling Great by Dr. David Burns

Thank you to all my teachers.
